Earning a River

Denmark, 2020

Lured into following an old dream, a group of friends undertake a demanding route to paddle and fish the river Kaitum in Northern Swedish Lapland. But too soon they find themselves hiking through harsh weather and camping in a snowstorm up in a mountain pass. Not the most ordinary start of a paddling adventure.

Earning a River is a film about why people seek rewards in beautiful mountains, and following the love for nature and the comradeship of travel together.
