Oamenii drumului: Terra Banatica
Romania, 2021
Via Transilvanica is a trail that crosses a diversity of ethnic, cultural, historical, and geographical layers — a path about communities, identities, and rediscovery. Spanning 1,400 km from Putna to Drobeta-Turnu Severin, those who have walked it describe it as revealing, healing, and marked by remarkable landscapes. It is a journey on foot, tied to history and initiation — a path of inner balance through pushing physical limits. The documentary showcases a small part of the work done by the initiators from Tășuleasa Social in arranging the trail in Caraș-Severin. Alongside their efforts and achievements, we also follow the journey of a guide and a group of four women rediscovering the charm of picturesque Romania by experiencing this path. A film that undoubtedly awakens the wanderlust in us.
