The TMF Association is a team of enthusiastic young people who promote mountain sports, including those practiced in the mountains (climbing, running, cycling, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering), underground (caving, adventure), in the air (paragliding, base jumping), or in mountain waters (kayaking, canoeing, canyoning, sailing).

Chaired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The French Institute in Cluj is a language and culture center functioning under the authority of the French Embassy in Romania. Launched in 1991, it is part of a large network of institutions, with offices across the country: the French Embassy, the French Consulate in Romania, the French Chamber for Industry and Commerce (CCIFER), the French High School in Bucharest, the French Business Club, the French Alliances. Each year the activities of the French Institute of Cluj-Napoca reach about 30.000 people.
The Faculty of Geography of the “Babes-Bolyai” University has been one of the pillars of education and research of the Alma Mater Napocensis since its foundation. The Faculty offers various study programs in the scientific field of Geography: Geography of Tourism, Geography, Cartography, Spatial Planning, Hydrology and Meteorology. Teaching and research activities are carried out in Romanian, Hungarian and German in Cluj-Napoca and in the extensions in Bistrița, Gheorgheni, Sighetu Marmației and Zalău in a multicultural academic context. They are supported by an experienced teaching staff, mostly trained in the Faculty of Geography, who have specialized at prestigious universities in Europe and the United States.
Internship partnerships and thematic collaborations have been established with the departments ADT – Tourism Planning and Development and GT – Geography of Tourism.

Romanian Alpine Club – Cluj Department, is one of the most active branches of the Romanian Alpine Club (founded in 1990) having as main activity mountain sports such as alpinism and climbing, trekking, ski touring and alpine skiing, mountain bike tours and trail running. Currently Cluj branch counts +200 members and it is continuously growing.
On July 1st 2020, SMURD Cluj was celebrating 25 years of existence. 25 years of interventions, emotion and dedication. Partner of our festival since its first edition, he SMURD volunteer paramedics offer first aid courses to all those who subscribe to this activity. SMURD CLUJ aims to promote the proper first aid medical help among the general population, among persons who are not involved in the medical field, by organizing courses, demos and exercises.
SPJ Salvamont-Salvaspeo Cluj is active in the mountain areas of Cluj. It handles large areas with a great tourist inflow and mountain sports practitioners: Turzii and Tureni gorges, Muntele Mare area, Baisoara resort, and Belis area. The local division provides permanent assistance, patrolling and first aid.
Cluj County Council is partner of the mountain festival through its specialized division SALVAMONT-SALVASPEO Cluj.
Potecătorii Voluntari is the community that veils at the state of orienteering signs, trails, volunteering activities, mountain refuges, outdoor education and various competitions.

The “Club Sportiv Spando” Association was founded in 2009. The club’s goal is to ensure the development, selection, and specialized training of athletes for participation in alpine skiing and swimming competitions. Additionally, the club takes part in both national and international competitions and organizes local tournaments and cups.
