Transylvania Mountain Festival

TMF 2025 Official Mountain Photography Exhibition | Free Spirit

Photography has laid the foundation for the modern documentation of mountains and the hard-to-reach areas of our planet. Through photography, each of us can visit places where our minds still don’t know what to imagine. And this year, we’re bringing the mountain to the heart of Cluj-Napoca!

The Transylvania Mountain Festival – TMF 2025 photography selection will be exhibited at Atelier Café, a place where creatives, sports enthusiasts, and lovers of nature and travel come together.

  • Exhibition theme: FREE SPIRIT
  • Duration: November 18–23

Sincere congratulations to all photographers selected for the official TMF – Transylvania Mountain Festival 2025 mountain photography exhibition!

The exhibited works will take you through the heights and valleys of the Alps, the Carpathians, and the mountains of Lebanon.
You will feel the thrill of climbing along the royal line — a path that both attracts and challenges you. You’ll dream of starry nights where one rediscovers their true nature beneath the vast, all-encompassing sky. You’ll be moved by the sight of the soft morning light filtering through the mountains and the explosion of colors at sunset — a spectacle of nature brought to each of us amid the everyday hum of city life.

Exhibiting photographers:

This year’s official selection brings to the public — lovers of mountain, landscape, and sports photography — the works of seven photographers:

  • Balàzs Rappert (RO)
  • Billy Barraclough (UK)
  • Bogdan Munteanu (RO)
  • Daniel Mârlea (RO)
  • Lea El Medawar (LB)
  • Marcin Ciepielewski (PL)
  • Tudor Lozba (RO)

A warm thank-you to the exhibition coordinators — Dan Tăuțan, Alexandru Sava, and Gabriel Roșca — for their dedication to this project.

The announcement of the TMF 2025 Mountain Photography Trophy winner will take place during the festival gala on November 22, on the stage of Cinema Victoria, alongside our special guest Bogdan BOB Rădulescu!

Visiting hours: daily, according to Atelier Café’s schedule.
The photography trophy is offered by the TMF Association, with prizes provided by Garmin Romania, 7Trek, and Maramontsport.
The exhibition production is supported by PMA Invest.

Admission is free — but of course, we’d be delighted if you stayed for a coffee or tea at the café.
See you soon!
