Transylvania Mountain Festival pins Cluj, once again (!), on the international map of mountain, sport, outdoor technology, film and mountain photography lovers!
The sixth edition of the Transylvania Mountain Festival will have its official opening on 20 November at 20:00 at the Faculty of Geography of Babeș-Bolyai University with the launch of the book “Winter in the mountains” by Dinu Mititeanu, and will open its doors to the general public on 21 November with events focused on mountain culture at Cinema Victoria, Institut Français de Roumanie à Cluj and Atelier Café.
Audiences from home and abroad will have the opportunity to discover the incredible adventures and life philosophy of skiers, snowboarders, free riders, mountain bikers, climbers, mountaineers, free flyers, navigators and mountain hikers!
This year, the festival attracted competitors from 24 countries who entered their projects and works in the festival competitions.

TMF 2023 PROGRAMME
This year, the TMF – Transylvania Mountain Festival programme includes:
- 20 Nov : Launch of the book “Winter in the mountains” by Dinu Mititeanu
- 21 – 26 Nov: Mountain film screenings at the Victoria Cinema
- 21 – 26 Nov: Mountain photography exhibition TMF 2023 at Atelier Café
- 21 Nov: Adventurers beyond time – educational workshop for kids at Institut Français de Cluj
- 24 Nov: ZăpăDoc – photo exhibition, Zain launch, ski & snowboard film screening at Atelier Café
- 25 Nov: TMF Gala – Transylvania Mountain Festival 2023
- 25 – 26 Nov: Hiking organized by the Romanian Alpine Club Cluj Branch and climbing at Gravitty

TRANSYLVANIA MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL 2023 AWARDS GALA
The highlight of the festival is the TMF Awards Gala. Already a tradition, the winners of the Transylvania Mountain Festival awards and trophies will be announced at an official ceremony by actor Bogdan Bob Rădulescu on the stage of the Cinema Victoria on 25 November for the following categories:
