The most expected moment of our Transylvania Mountain Festival 2019 was the  TMF 2019 Awards Gala!

In a very energized atmosphere due to the films and talks we have been attending Saturday night, right after the Reel Rock14 show, the audience was invited to the festive moment of the event.

The TMF 2019 Mountain Film Award

Goes to the team of the impressive The PATHAN PROJECT  film produced by  – Guillaume BROUST (2019). From the key casts of this expedition film  – Nicolas Favresse, Jean-Louis Wertz, Mathieu Maynadier and Carlitos Molina – the trophy was picked up by our special guest Nicolas Favresse.

Goes to Nils Ohlendorf who has surprised the jury with amazing photos on both imposed categories – landscape and mountain sports.

Goes to the Freshbite software development team in Cluj-Napoca for nthe first crowd source app for ski resorts  – an ap called ON PISTE.

The TMF 2019 Mountain Activity Award

Goes to the team that made the first ascent of the Sout-East face of Pumori (7161 m, Himalaya) route called Le voyage du Petit Prince, succeeded by Romeo Popa, Zsolt Torok (†) and Teofil Vlad, an ascent taht was also nominated at the prestigious Les Piolets d’Or in 2019!
