Transylvania Mountain Festival will once again delight lovers of sport, outdoor technology, film and mountain photography with a bold theme: Limitless.

The 5th Transylvania Mountain Festival will take place from 21 to 27 November 2022 with a hybrid programme. Audiences from Romania and abroad will discover the incredible adventures and philosophy of life of free flying, skiing, snowboarding and free riding, MTB, climbing, mountaineering, sailing and mountain hiking practitioners!

Competitors from 15 countries have submitted mountain films, mountain photography, innovative mountain projects and actions to promote outdoor sports! To enjoy all this, Transylvania Mountain Festival will also run the 2022 edition, both online and offline!

THE PROGRAMME

This year, the TMF programme returns to a classic, more focused format, with outdoor exhibitions, live and online viewing. From 21 November, mountain and outdoor sports enthusiasts will be able to enjoy:

• 21.11.2022:  The launch of the book ” Mountain lust ” by Dinu Mititeanu
• 21.11.2022 – 29.11.2022: TMF 2022 outdoor mountain photography exhibition
• 26.11.2022 – 27.11.2022: Outdoor educational and sports workshops
• 22.11.2022 – 27.11.2022: TMF 2022 mountain film selection – at the Victoria Cinema
• 23.11.2022 – 12.12.2022:  TMF 2022 Online Film Show on streamerse.net
• 25.11.2022: TMF Gala – Transylvania Mountain Festival 2012 at Victoria Cinema

TMF – Transylvania Mountain Awards Gala

Already a tradition, the winners of the 2022 Transylvania Mountain Festival Awards and trophies will be announced during a ceremony at Cinema Victora on 25 November for the following categories:

• TMF 2022 Mountain Photography Award
• TMF 2022 Mountain Film Award
• TMF 2022 Mountain Innovation Award
• TMF 2022 Mountain Activity Award

The TMF Association promotes knowledge and exploration of the mountain environment through sport, education, art and science – and the Transylvania Mountain Festival is the place where athletes, explorers, innovators and creatives in love with nature and mountains meet! We hope that this programme will inspire the local and international community, generate new initiatives and projects that bring back the mountain spirit and love of Nature among us.
